Made of organza - a stiffer fabric that holds volume.
Tiers + horizontal pleats add visual bulk, making the lower half look wider.

Right Dress
Chiffon - lighter, drapier fabric that falls closer to the body.
The vertical pleats + straight cut help elongate without adding volume.

First Trimester Fits 🤰🏻✨

Skirts, soft pants, jersey dresses, these were my first trimester heroes.

I didn’t have nausea (so grateful for
that), but I still felt some discomfort
around my stomach, especially if
I wore anything without
stretch for too long.
Elastic waistbands, jersey
materials, and relaxed
silhouettes were my comfort
zone- and I picked pieces
I could carry forward into
the second trimester too.

Honestly, there wasn’t
much to prepare for in the beginning. The transition
from first to second trimester felt quite smooth. And the
second trimester really is the golden period-
energy levels are better,
the bump is just starting to
show, and I could experiment
with more looks and styles.
It’s been the most fun phase
to dress for so far.

But now that I’ve entered
the third trimester,
I can feel the shift. Some
of those trousers that fit perfectly before- even with elastic-
just don’t anymore.
Only the super stretchy
ones are still hanging in there, and I think they’ll make it to
the end with me.
